About Fern's Meadow Apothecary

Hi, I’m Brittany Terry, founder of Fern’s Meadow Apothecary. For nearly 20 years, I’ve worked as a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician, helping clients achieve healthy skin through holistic and organic approaches to beauty and wellness. My journey began in the Calistoga spa industry, where I spent more than 15 years immersed in a culture centered around healing, self-care, and the restorative power of nature.

Over the years, I realized my passion extended beyond skin care alone. I felt called to help people heal from the inside out, which led me to become a Master Herbalist and continue my education as a PhD candidate in Natural and Holistic Medicine.

Fern’s Meadow Apothecary was inspired by my grandmother, Fern, a nurse whose compassionate spirit and deep connection to nature left a lasting impression on me. She spent countless hours tending her large garden, nurturing both plants and people with the same care and dedication. Her example helped shape my appreciation for natural healing and the powerful relationship between wellness and the earth.

Today, Fern’s Meadow Apothecary is an extension of that inspiration and my lifelong passion for herbal wellness. I create small-batch medicinal herbal salves, botanical skin care, tallow body moisturizers, herbal bath treatments, and nature-inspired wall hangings made with dried flowers and preserved moss. Every product is thoughtfully handcrafted with the intention of bringing comfort, healing, beauty, and a deeper connection to nature into everyday life.
